Starting my career with a small engineering consulting firm, I quickly began managing client relationships and executing projects across a variety of industries.I then started working for a Global 500 manufacturing company as an internal consulting engineer, reporting to the Director of Digital Transformation. I coordinated between general management, operators, and contractors, leading projects at sites across North America, Europe and China.

Coordinating between management, operators, and consultants to implement SAP across 7 sites, I worked on planning and execution of the ERP rollout.I also developed custom integration solutions to allow sites to automatically record and enter data in SAP, reducing entry time and user errors.

I converted an older controls software (FactoryTalk) to a modern SCADA solution (Ignition), utilizing best practices and improving alarming, reporting, and data analytics.I operated as both lead programmer and project manager, working closely with operators and management to ensure solution met the needs of all stakeholders.Relevant languages used - Python, Java, HTML, SQL

I created a custom Python program to pull in Ontario provincial electricity supply, demand, and price data for a major power consumer.By analyzing data in real-time, the site was able to plan shutdowns during periods of high prices or predicted demand peaks. This initiative results in around $1M in energy savings annually.
